Residentials

At Sandiway Primary School, we believe very strongly in the importance of residential visits and provide them for Years 2 and upwards. 

• Year 2 go to Fox Howl in Delamere Forest for 1 night

• Year 3 visit the Burwardsley Outdoor Education Centre for 1 night

They have a wonderful time enjoying an expedition into a woodland where shelters were built and hammocks were set up. They had great fun looking at recent badger activity and looking for evidence of their nocturnal activities.

We were very impressed with how the children helped each other out - some children really stretching their comfort zone by staying away from their family. We were very proud of the children and we really enjoyed their company.

• Year 4 visit Ironbridge in Shropshire for 2 nights

• Year 5 visit the The Conway Activity Centre, Anglesey for 2 nights

• Year 6 will be visiting Keswick for 3 nights
